This is NOT a thermos, anyone buying this should be aware.
It DOES help retain hot and cold liquids for longer than a normal container due to its double wall design. The gap between the plastic and glass is at atmosphere, which can lead to condensation forming inbetween, BUT that is not an issue.
This flask can be completely seperated for very easy cleaning of parts.
I specifically wanted a glass interior, as stainless steel can rust, glass cannot. The fact that the exterior is plastic helps protect the flask from small drops and knocks, making it much sturdier and possibly safer than a double glass wall.
The roped hoop on the cap (which cannot be used as a cup/mug) is a welcome addition to anyone wanting to hang the flask rather than holster/pocket it.

Final note: i ordered the blue, and blue is what i got. i read other reviews from people getting a different colour before ordering ... i didnt mind as the design is truely what i wanted, the colour matching what i ordered would just be a bonus to me. Thankyou for this truely awesome flask.
Keeps things hot 60C initial dropping to 40C in around 2+hr, a good result for not being thermos. (inaccurate readings by me btw). Not tried cold yet, would assume it would match the hot result (due to sunlight being able to penetrate through to the liquid - possibly better in the dark).
