Good price and firm comfort for someone who hates flights.

So I bought this pillow for a trip from the U.S. to England. As someone who absolutely loathes flights, never mind long ones, I planned to be dead asleep the majority of the time. That's where this pillow came in! The memory foam was very comfortable but very firm. I think the firm support is important on a long flight. However, it could be too firm for some, in which case perhaps you could find something like it with a pillow top?

My neck and head were reasonably comfortable the way there and back. I used the pillow in a variety of positions- behind the neck, in front of the neck, against the window- and enjoyed it each time. My flights would have been worse without it.

Another plus in my mind is that it is so portable! There is an elastic strap along the back to attach it to, say, the handle of your rolling suitcase. It's very elastic, which can be good if you need to attach it over something big, but a drawback in the opposite scenario as it could hang too low.

That's my take! At this price, this little pillow will probably serve you well.

Comfortable but depends on how you use it

I used this for bus travel and a long plane ride. When using it as a regular neck pillow, it works best only when reclining the seat so your neck doesn't move forward. If you can't recline, I found what works best (and looks sort of silly, but who cares when you need sleep) is to wear the neck pillow as normal but turn it upwards so the ends are by your ears. It's actually even more comfortable that way and stops your head from moving side to side. When I didn't feel comfortable, I just used it as a regular pillow and that worked too. Anyway, I think this is far more comfortable than a plastic inflatable/deflatable pillow but the downside is that it can take up quite a bit of space in the carry-on. I packed it in a bigger ziploc freezer bag and squeezed the air out of it but that only worked temporarily.

The next great thing about this pillow is the washable cover -- one of the main reasons I got it in the first place. When it first arrived, there was a thread hanging loose but I decided to tie a knot to prevent it from snagging on something. The only downside to the cover is that it can be a little tough to get the pillow back in but squishing the ends first rather than stuffing it in seems to work best.

This neck pillow is so comfortable. After neck surgery, I have to sleep with one of these. By far it is the most supportive and comfortable. I will be purchasing a few more for future use.
