...these things work. I'm sure they get dirty after a while but aside from being re-usable, they supply water as well as humidity for crickets.
Do you ever get crickets from the pet shop and they're in that plastic bag with cardboard and cricket water? During a time when i was lazy about it, I would keep the crickets in the bag with their stuff and used them as feeders off and on. Needless to say, the crickets would die in the bag before i could get to using them all. But then I started putting these water pillows in instead of the cricket water and they actually last longer in the bag because of it. (They still eat each other but whatever).
Now I use them in my new cricket breeding bucket and it provides spot-on humidity as well as hydration. I highly recommend this product for cricket breeders and feeders. Still wondering if I can make my own with the water crystals i have currently. We'll see in time.
