Great cocktail set with nearly everything you need. The cup feels/looks a little cheap, but the recipes on the side aren't bad. Plus,I didn't buy this for the cup. The shakers are very high quality (just metal) and it's nice to have two different options. They work exactly as you would expect and are easy to make great cocktails with. I'm not really sure what I should be using the spoon for, but I suppose it can help with making layered drinks or stirring in a tall glass? I haven't tried either of these yet.
The only think I would change is maybe adding a fine strainer instead of the spoon or glass. The holes in the shaker with a lid are too large to filter out any pulp if you add fresh citrus juice. Many kitchens already have a strainer, but a small sized one for this set would be a useful addition.
PROS:
- High quality real metal parts
- Has all the necessary equipment for making your favorite drinks
- You look pretty classy stirring things up with that large spoon and having a dedicated stick to muddle your fruit.
CONS:
- A 0.75 oz. measuring cup would come in handy when making single servings
- The shaker is counted as 3 pieces (not really a complaint, but seems like cheating)
- No strainer
- Pint glass is kind of ugly and definitely won't be sitting on my bar
