We bought this to our 15-month-old. It was really easy to put together and is incredibly sturdy. I really like the rubber around the tires, which helps to protect our wood floors. We bought the Green Hedgehog, which is super cute for our daughter. I do agree that it does move a little fast. The first few times she tried it, our daughter started crying because it was making her walk too fast. I stuck a couple of 3-pound weights on the bottom, which worked like a charm! After she got used to it more, I removed one of the weights and then both and now she has no problem with it. She LOVES this thing. She fills it with all of her toys and stuffed animals. I even caught her trying to climb into it for a ride!
The cart is very cute and my baby absolutely loves pushing it around. It does squeak quite loudly though and the squeaking is pretty hard on your ears. It’s too bad because it’s great otherwise and we’ll just deal with the squeaking so our baby can be happy.
Cutest gift EVER!!!! My granddaughter’s 1st Birthday was approaching. She was not quite walking and has just discovered her Baby Doll. I researched carriages and they all looked flimsy. This one was wood, colorful, had sturdy rubberizedwheels and could hold her baby and other stuff too. Easy to assemble, I filled it with a rubber Dolly and Ducky and made a little quilt to wrap her baby in. This gift was and continues to be the best!!!

This is an adorable walker. Assembly was quick and easy. The wheels came preinstalled, attached to each side piece. My granddaughter is just learning to stand and she loves this. The paint is done well and seems as if it will hold up over time. Aesthetically it is quite pleasing. It's a nice respite from all the plastic, battery-consuming, noise-making junk that gets foisted on children from all sides from the moment of their birth. That said, there are a couple of things that bear mentioning, and that kept my rating below 5 stars.
- The four screws that attach the upright part of the handles are just a little too long. When properly countersunk into the pre-drilled recess, the points threaten to push through the side. There are two bumps on the red side now. I backed the screws out a tiny bit and did not install to full depth on the hedgehog side, to avoid the same problem. The handles seem to be plenty sturdy anyway, and do not wiggle at all. Still, it would have been nice if the screws were shorter.
- The wheels are wobbly at the attachment point. One of them rubs the side a little. The wobbly effect is minimized when there is weight in the bin. We put in a flat 10 lb plate from my son's free weight set, to keep the unit stable when the baby pulls herself up. It works well and leaves plenty of room for toys. (Some reviewers used a gallon water jug but we felt that would take up too much room) Having weight in the bin acts to stabilize the wheels which seem to roll straight and true during use. I suspect that the wheel attachment points will be the part that eventually fails. The wheels themselves are quite sturdy, and the rubber ring was a thoughtful addition. The product description makes it seem as if the speed is controlled somewhat by the rubber rings, but that isn't really true. The rubber will keep the cart from skidding sideways, but on a bare floor, it will still go too fast for a beginning walker to keep up, and might result in falls. Using the walker on a carpeted floor, however, works great. It creates enough drag to allow the baby to be in control.
I'm not sure why this is rated for children ages 1 to 3. My granddaughter is 8 months, pulling herself up and pushing it. Perhaps it is for the speed control on bare floors? Hard to say. I wouldn't let a non-walking baby use it without supervision, but that's common sense. This little cart (if the wheel hubs hold up) will be even more fun for a child once they are walking on their own. That longevity of usefulness is nice to see in a toy, and this one is going to be a favorite.
