This covered mug arrived with a defective lid. It does not stay open when drinking or closed when not. Since I signed up for their lifetime guarantee, I sent an email. No response.
I called and was told to send it back to Amazon. I was trying to avoid making that trip. So much for a lifetime guarantee.
Hey Tervis, all you had to do to get a 5-star review was to send me a new lid as per your guarantee. I guess "guarantee" means something different in Florida.
EDIT: I received a replacement from Amazon and the problem remains the same, although the lid works a bit better. Why offer a lifetime guarantee and not fulfill it? Now I have a second mug to return.
