We needed something a bit smaller for my son's lunches as the full 1 liter bottles were to big to fit in the drink compartment of his lunch bag.

Went with the metal ones in the hopes that they would be more durable than plastic as he would be taking them around school.

So far so good, they are holding up to the use well and he is no longer buying pop at school. :)

After looking at the Sodastream website I took a chance and ordered these for use with my Power model. They fit fine, just note that if you normally use the highest carbonation setting that you will want to use a lower setting with this smaller bottle with the 1L bottle that came with the unit . I called Sodastream and they said it was not necessary to reduce carbonation but I had a small water overflow at the highest setting.

These bottles have a design flaw. There is a plastic ring that the cap screws down to. The cap is too deep . When you screw down the cap it bottoms out on the ring before a good seal can be made on the gasket at the bottom of the cap. I bought four of these and I had to get out the belt sander and grind away the lip of the caps. This way the cap when screwed on bottoms out on the gasket for a good seal and not the ring . Very basic design flaw.

In just a couple of hours, the carbonation is very depleted. Returning and ordering OEM Soda Stream bottles.

Pretty good knock off, works well with the soda stream has OM specs only downside the chrome finish peices come off after afew washes the glue lets loose
