Exact Delta replacement part

This is a Delta made part. It worked perfectly. There is a special tool to remove and install it, but the edge of a standard quarter works. Be careful not to overtighten. The old one in my case broke, and I had to fish out the broken bits which was not easy. But it sure beats buying and installing a whole new faucet.

The delta faucet that this item goes to (Emmett) installed in oct of 21... got this today. Having this AND the two handle insert valves on hand when you ...First Buy... the faucet is recommended. The life of the faucet itself though is dubious. as to the thin metal of the spout. mine is showing corrosion from the inside out. Expect this trim kit to disappear from amazon in the future. Buy time.. kick the can down the road.

Perfect fit and worked flawlessly right off.

Please do not make the mistake I made and buy this from ACE hardware. It was their trade name and looked exactly the same but had a thunk every time I turned on the water. Plus there was some leak by when I turned on the nozzle. The ACE diverter cost about $2 less than the Amazon Delta diverter.

Removed it and installed the Delta from Amazon and no noise and water completely off when I used the nozzle. I wasted my money with the ACE knockoff.

Happy camper.

Our spray was weak and water did not stop from the facet when we used it. The faucet can be unthreaded by hand to access the diverter. If water is turned off at the handles, no need to turn the water off under the sink before removing it. Use a Quarter or similar in the top slot to turn the old diverter. I thought ours might be repairable by cleaning, but it was cracked, or I cracked it trying to disassemble it. Screwing in the new one did the trick. Easy!

Where's the black thingy?

Installed and can now use my faucet, but the sprayer gets stuck on. Didn't do that before. OH, the first part I received was missing the black thingy. It was poorly wrapped in a plastic bag. It actually feel out in my hand when I opened the box which contained other order items. I sent it back and got another one and that one was in a factory plastic blister package. That one was all good. Be careful, after installation, that your sprayer is off else your going to get wet. Ask me how I know.
