I bought this after having trouble getting the front disc caliper centered on a new frameset that still uses IS tabs. The inside face of the tab had some paint buildup, which caused the adapter and caliper to sit at a slight angle to the rotor. This made it impossible to center the caliper, and the rotor had noticeable flex when applying the brake. This tool is very well made and sturdy, and was simple to use. In about 10 minutes, I had the tab faced, and the adapter sat nice and square against the tab. I had the caliper centered in no time, and the pads now hit the rotor straight on. Solid brake feel, with no rub or rotor flex. This tool made a world of difference!
