These are quite nice to look at. I have other disc storage binders that are clear/white plastic and half the height; I over stuff them and have had them for over a decade. They are great for grabbing a road trip or vacation set and they have yet to break while toting them for a decade, but I hated the way they looked in the living room. These Bellagio are certainly more attractive and don't look excessively cheap...though obviously plastic. The size makes it nice to handle and select discs while in the home. I have the individual pockets over stuffed with 2 discs and they seem okay flipping the pages abruptly. I am in time crunch to purge, organize, pack and move so this will have to do. I would have rated this higher, but the long term durability is unknown to me at this time. Also, at the price point I purchased, for plastic or vinyl...whatever they are, they are quite expensive. Then I have to and can only buy a limited number of extra pages and 2 more binders to get the job done, which are also expensive for their material. Mid process, I realized my stereo and car can read and play a thumb drive with music and audio books, select tracks with a turn knob of tiny incremental movement and clear detailed digital display...so probably 2 thumb drives twenty bucks max and likely won't need more storage. Once done with this project/system...I'm done due to high price. If the price were reasonable, I probably would not hesitate to expand my collection. Also the tab identifier on the spine doesn't seem to slip out to customize. I would have preferred ivory colored thread seams and tab identifier over bright white. There were other color and design binders by this brand that I preferred better, but opted for the entry level price point of those I could find.
I was very pleased with these little binders. They look nice on a bookshelf and allowed me to purge all the DVD cases that took up an entire drawer in a deep cabinet. I was able to use that space much more efficiently and still have access to my DVDs that I don’t use very often these days with all the streaming services. The limited number of pages in the binders/books was helpful because it made me part with DVDs I don’t actually use but for old time sake have just held onto. I’ve recommended this product to several friends and wish I would have invested sooner. My husband is very frugal about spending and he himself said it was worth every penny for the space it makes. You won’t miss those DVD cases!
The only thing i do not like is the cost of additional refills. They did include an extra set, but i still needed another one. I went on Amazon to purchase and the cost is approximately 19 but i can buy an entire binder with inserts for 21... this does not make sense. You get more insert than with a refill and the binder, which i really don't want. But it is cheaper in the long run to buy refill this way. The binder will go into land fill i guess. Otherwise they are very nice aesthetically and function well. Look good on shelf. They just need to address refill price
